Border Collie stories: Here are just a few short stories about our border collies. We hope to share more in the future! They are very entertaining and each has their own personality! They are very active and must be paired with the right owners. Some border collies do well as inside pets if they have a calm personality. After spending time with them, it is easy to tell what the personality is each border collie.
Border collie nursing story July 13,2005 We are enjoying all the Border collie puppies. At this point both Leia and Belle just nurse what ever puppy wants to eat! It doesn't matter who is the mother. They like all of their puppies running around between the two puppy stalls. Since we have a family compound they don't lack for attention! Some of the puppies got to visit the Vet this week for a check up. We will miss the puppies that must go to a new home soon.
Border Collie puppy update August 8, 2005 Our Border collie puppies are getting so active! They are running all over the barn. They hate it when their mom is out getting exercise. They have a huge safe area to run around within the barn. We don't take any chances of puppies getting into trouble. They are so cute as they all line up at their gate and peer through the welded wire. They are eating well as they get the best dog food with supplements to help them grow strong. We want the best food and the best homes for these Border Collie babies!
The two Border Collie moms kept playing musical stalls. We wondered why Belle kept moving her puppies into Leia's stall instead of staying in her own. We kept putting Belle and her little border collie puppies back in her own stall but she kept moving back into Princess Leia's stall. We decided to let Belle have her way and let her keep Leia's stall and move Princess Leia into Belle's stall. Then we discovered Leia wanting her stall back. We soon discovered it was all about the fan. Princess Leia had a bigger fan than Belle! So we got Leia a big fan and they are now both happy! However, we let Belle stay in Leia's stall. She still thinks she has a bigger fan! |
