Fly ball Information:

 

This is an dog sport in which the Border Collie runs out, clears hurdles going to the flyball box, touches the petal, that lets the ball out, catches the ball, and then jumps back over the hurdles.  The dog sport is played as a relay system and there are different teams.  Flyball is becoming more popular.  To become a champion in flyball a Border Collie must get a certain amount of points.  Dogs that run 28-32 seconds gain one point, running 24-28 seconds gain 5 points, less than 24 seconds win 25 points.  Qualification FD Ch. needs  500 points, FDX needs 100 points, and FD requires 20 points.
