Grooming Supplies: Dog Shampoo and Conditioner- They have many different purposes. Some are for pets with allergies, some are for restoring damage, deep conditioning, flea and tick, relieving itches, adding sheen and improving skin health, brighten light color, deodorizing, reducing dander and scaling, clean and condition in one step, hypo-allergenic, brings out dark hair colors to achieve "show glow", protein shampoo, puppy shampoo, relieving skin irritations, and adding body.
Waterless Shampoos- They clean without water.
Pet Dryer- These are special pet dryers, that are supposed to dry the fur faster, or a regular hair dryer will work.
Nail trimming kits- To keep your pet's nails short. You may want a professional to show you how to clip their nails, if you never did it before. If the dog's nail is cut too short, you may need to get some product to make the nail stop bleeding.

Brushes and Combs- There are many, many different types of brushes, some are for short hair, while others are for long hair. In general large dogs need large brushes. Some of the more commonly used brushes are: Pin and bristle brush, combs, the most common comb is the flea comb, and brushes for removing shedding hair like a shedding blade or shedding comb. Also undercoat rakes are used to brush the dog's undercoat.
Grooming Tables- These tables are used to place the dog on for easier grooming. A noose holds the dog in place so that the person can easily groom the dog.
Keep This in Mind: *Your dog may not need all of these types of grooming supplies, the type of supplies depends on the type of hair the dog has. *You can emprimise and place the dog on something else instead of purchasing a grooming table. *Some dogs such as poodles may need to be taken to a professional groomer, or they may need to teach you how to groom the dog at first. *Preparing dogs for conformation events can take hours, especially if the dog is a Chow.
