Tips for Training Border Collies:- Have treats or toys ready. - Get the dog's attention. - Use the same command each time. - Use only one or two word commands. - Say the command clearly and with confidence. - Be patient with the dog, never hit or yell at the dog. - Teach one command at a time. - Keep training interesting. - Only train about 10-30 minutes each day. - Reward dog after correctly following a command and at the end of the training session. |
